The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway Plc (GWSR) is devoted to reopening as much as possible of the former Great Western Railway line between Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon. The heritage railway is almost entirely run by volunteers, and operates between Cheltenham Racecourse Station and Laverton. It is currently extending the line northwards to Broadway and restoring the station.  The public are invited to consider becoming a Member of the Railway, volunteering, becoming a shareholder of the Plc, or sponsoring/donating.
