WHO A group of seasoned and enthusiastic amateur wine fans in and around Broadway
WHAT A monthly evening of themed tasting, allowing members and guests to try six to eight wines for roughly the price of one
WHERE Broadway's Lifford Hall on the western edge of the village's centre
WHEN The third Wednesday of each month, from 7:30 to 9:30 (that is, 19:30 to 21:30)
WHY If it is not obvious by now, you have probably come to the wrong place
HOW MUCH Annual subscription is £10 (payable in September); and a normal evening is £8 for members or £10 for guests... some special events, for example champagne tasting evenings, may run a touch higher
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW Members and non-members must supply their own glasses (minimum of four is recommended for comparative purposes)... the club often makes bulk (and therefore less inexpensive) purchases of ISO standardised tasting glasses, so ring if you are interested
